I am not sure how I madethis happen but i now have a terminal that thinks it is a 24 button terminal instead of 36 button terminal.

I have a NEAX 2000 IPS with Dterm Series i 36 button phones. I have one terminal that will not let me program the one touch keys for one row. How can I make ths terminal know that it is a 36 button again?

Check Command 1224 for that station. "0" means 24 button mode, "7" means 16 button mode.

command 1224 comes back as 0 - what should it be for a 36 button phone? I am sorry if I seem like I don't get it but i just got thrown into this and I think it has finially conviced my boss to send me to the NEC training I have been begging for.

Ok.. I now KNOW the coffee hasn't kicked in this morning. I meant to say 32 button phone not 36. Sorry for the confusion.

32 button is really a 16 button w/ 16 speed dials (speed dial buttons are the two rows on the right). Change command 1224 to 7 for this extension. Make sure you have memory blocks assigned in commands 73 and 94. you should be good to go.

Well that did it grh959! Thank you very much. Also a huge thank you to neax. Now off to the boss' office to get the expenditure form signed for my training!

Hey, no problem, glad to hear it's OK now.
