Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to have a terminal services web client automatically logon to a particular account. What I need is a way to pass the logon information to the terminal server through the URL.

The idea being that from a web site on my intranet, a user could connect to a 'kiosk' user account.

so far my URL looks like this:

Ideas?

If you are using the default TSAC web pages (default.htm and connect.asp) you can already pass the user and domain names but if you look at you will find that the ability to pass passwords is part of the nonscriptable interface (which makes sense).

Page 19 of the article states that you can use the Terminal Services Configuration tool to set up automatic logins but I have not tried this out.

Hope you find this of use.

Regards
