Hi,

We have a windows 2003 Server, and we have enabled the Remote Desktop on this machine and we were able to use Remote Desktop from last couple of months. Suddenly it's stopped working, i have restarted the machine couple of times, but it's still not working.

Please help!! i am not really a tech guy so please provide me little bit more details on how to resolve the issue.

Thanks
MC

If you have not established a terminal server lic. server it will stop working after 120 days.

If you only use RDP for administrative purposes, make sure that you don't have Terminal Services licensing enabled since as MrNick indicated you will be shut out after 120 days (but will still be able to logon via the console connection).
Have you tried connecting using the console connection;

mstsc /v:<servername> /console

If that doesn't work and you don't have the licensing service installed, check for the following;

- Windows Firewall is not blocking the TS port 3389
- Ensure that your server is listening on port 3389 by issuing a netstat -an command
