hello there

We have terminal services installed on server 2003, now everything has worked fine for about 8 months!

However recently we have had problems with terminal services & sage, it seems that some users cant seem to access sage!

When a user clicks on the shortcut, the sage launcher screen jst freezes and i need to close the program down through the task manager.

My profile and the accountants profiles can access the program, i have checked all our settings and compared them to all the other users, i have also checked all permissions and basically gave everyone full privlidges to try and solve this problem!

but the program still will not open!

Can someone please give me some new ideas to attempt with this as i've ran out of ideas and sage dont seem to interested!

Kind regards

Steven

Hi Mark

I have attempted everything, its driving me crazy!

Sage want me to re-install the program but they have wasted so much of my time already and its nothing but hassle!

Cheers

Can you give me an explanation on how i do this, im pretty sure i've dealt with all permissions but the registry gives me some hope!

Do you anyhting about the configuration of terminal services!

Thanks again!

What I would suspect is that the users do not have some registry key (or rights to create or read).

Use REGEDT32 and right click the Key for the application. Choose permissions. Compare user settings to those of the accountant that can launch the program.

I hope you find this post helpful.

can you tell me which part of the tree that i should check please mate!

i hope this will finally solve this frustrating problem!

I don't know the program so I don't know what keys it will have. Most likely you will need to check something like:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Sage

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
