IS-IT--Management
It's been awhile since I've been to the site for help but I'm at a loss on this one. My company recently started doing IT work for this company who had a malware/virus outbreak. The previous IT company tried to clean the issue and since then there have been random BSOD's. The dump files show driver errors and if a file is mentioned, it's usually different each time. The last BSOD was for cpqteam.sys so I updated the HP NIC drivers. So far the BSOD's have been reduced but they still occur. I've already recommended format/reinstall of the OS but in the meantime we've run into another issue.
Only about 8-10 users can use terminal services before others get blocked. By this I mean no other users can log in until the others log off. There are no licensing errors in the event logs. The terminal server licensing shows 15 installed but when viewing the properties it gives an error that references licensing corruption (don't have the error on hand). Someone from our company said he reinstalled the licenses but the issue remains.
The OS is Server 2003, x86, Enterprise Edition SP2
I have not been able to do any hardware diags but I'm curious as to ideas why only 8-10 users would be able to connect. Any help would be appreciated.
