Hi. I have a terminal server that users access by remote desktop. They have a 'home' folder mapping set up in their user account in active directory.

One of our applications uses an ini file which locates itself in the users mapped 'home' profile\windows\application.ini

I would like the ini file to be accessed on c:\documents and settings\username\windows\application.ini like other users who don't have a home folder mapped.

Is there a way to do this? Or am I stuck with the ini file placement on any user account that has a home folder mapped?

Thanks!

It depends if your application is hard coded to use a particular ini path variable or if it doesn't matter can be in the same directory as the application. Have you contacted the developer of the application and ask them if it can be set to use another directory
