Hi. I have successfully implemented loopback policy security policies in terminal server windows 2008 box for admin and standard user environment.

Problem is, when I open up Terminal Services Manager in a domain controller which is another box connected to Terminal Server and right click user I want to remote control. It is greyed out. How do I successfully make it so I can view the users terminal session while He/She are on it?

I have already checked the Remote Control tab in ADUC and the variables are checked for 'Enable Remote Control', 'require users permission', and 'interact with users session'. Thx.

Forgot to add the obvious. I know you can control the session locally on the Terminal Server. But Is there a way this can be done on another member server or domain controller in different physical location? Thx.

Well it maybe the issue is you need to be on a remote machine with the terminal services role installed. I do this all the time in my TS farm.

Windows Haiku:

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

This is not recommended to install that role on a domain controller
