Hello,

I have a terminal server running windows 2k3 server with 20 per-device lisences. The Terminal server lisence server is also a win 2k3 box, acting as a domain controller/file/print server.

I just got a user that received the following error:

"The terminal server client <computer name> has been disconnected because its license could not be renewed."

When I look at the terminal services licensing, it says that 20 licenses have been taken up by computers, and there are 24 "Temporary licences".

Does this mean anyone who has a temporary lisence that expires they will be booted?

How do I change my server to run in Per user mode? Can I make this change without reinstalling my lisences?

Thanks in advance!
