We currently have client computers that are industrial type, they have only 256 mb of memory, they are not upgradable and cost 3 times as much to purchase than a traditional pc. We are setting up Terminal service and would like to use these as clients. My dilemma is having the client computers run in a "kiosk" mode, whereby, when the computer is turned on it connects up to the Terminal Server and they login.
I found a registry setting in which I modify the logon shell to point to terminal server. HKey LM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrVers\winlogon\shell.
Problem is they have to logon twice, once for the pc and again for terminal services.
Can someone help or direct me to the resource I need?
