Hi,

I have a weird terminal services licensing issue.

All of a sudden, after working correctly for a year, one of my win2k pro clients has "lost" its terminal server license.

According to the license server, it was issued a temporary license which is about to expire.

I need to know how to reset (if there is even a way) and force the server to recognize that its a win2k pro box and record the license that comes with win2k pro.

This is the only machine that is having problems. It keeps getting a message when the user logs onto the terminal servers, that the temporary license will expire in a certain number of days.

I have called MS and even though this is a problem with THEIR operating system/licensing system, they are going to charge me to try to fix this. I have looked at the following MS KB articles, 237811, 248430 and 330133 (which doesnt exist even though the customer service rep at MS gave it to me) and nothing seems to be written concerning this.

Anyone have any experience?

Sharyn
