Terminal Service License salvage 1

My Terminal Service license service on my Domain Controller says i'm currenly using 42 when infact I only have 38 users. All of my new users are getting 90 day temp Terminal service licenses. I can NOT get the licenses to reissue or release from the clients that no longer exsist.
Does anyone know how i can address this issue and reissue old licenses to new PCs/clients.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest fix is to call the Microsoft Clearing house and explain to them that you are having this problem.

They will reissue another set of TS-CAL's and this will give you the breathing room needed while the TS-CAL's are being released from the old clients. They get these calls regularly and they won't give you any hassle whatsoever.

Also make sure you have hotfix: Q287687 installed on your TS licensing server.
