We have poledit running on windows 2000 server. We locked down the taskbar in the start settings. When users log in to terminal server they do not get there clock settings in the right hand corner is there a way to turn this on without opening up the policy.

As far as Im aware the clock options is disbled because it requires constant updates from the Server which can be heavy on bandwith when you have lots of clients

Er, poledit? Do you Group Policy Object editor? Anyway, each user can enable the clock by right-clicking the taskbar, choosing Properties, click Show Clock, however, MarcS is right, it uses bandwidth to update this display - your call.
