I have installed Terminal Services on a HP 320 G5 server and I'm having an issue with the application closing from a workstation. Actually, the app closes but I get a blank screen for 60 seconds until the session shuts down. You can go enter alt, cntrl, delete, select log off and it will close. Is there a setting to change this so it will close right away without the 60 second wait? This server is not in production, I just built it and I'm testing so only one workstation is using it at this time. I have an older server that has Server 2003, installed terminal services, installed the one application and I have the same results. We run this application on Win 2000 terminal server with no problems.

Sounds like the app is trying to do something that the user doesn't have access to do in Windows 2003 that they did have access to in Windows 2000. Windows 2003 has it's security set much higher than Windows 2000.

I'd call the vendor/developer and see if they know what the problem is.
