Hi All.
We have a fully licensed server with around 200 CALS - Everything is working OK, at the moment. However, we now have an event ID of 1008 saying that the license grace period will expire in 90 days. This server has been working no problem for about 3 years!
I have gone to reactive the server, through TS Licensing, choosing Corrupt License Cert as reason, and I then get the following:
Your license server has been successfully reactivated.
I check Event logs, and get one event of:
Regenerate public/private key by client ncalrpc:<server-name>
and then this one:
Terminal Server Licensing on server <server-name> has not been activated. Terminal Server Licensing will only issue temporary licenses until the server is activated. See Terminal Server Licensing help topic for more information.
The TS Licensing screen does show <server-name> - Activated
I'm concerned that this is all going to turn off in 90 days - Is there any way I can confirm it is using the correct CALS or a way to successfully re-activate.
Thanks in advance for any help offered!
