Does anybody know what is required to set up a terminal server that can be accessed from anywhere on the internet?

I've set up a server that is running terminal server. I am able to access it via client within my network. I know I need to setup a public IP that is published on a external DNS server.

I was told I need a separate server to act as a license server and that it needs to be a PDC. Is that true for both?
Can't the license server be on the same box? And, can't the terminal server be a stand alone box (no domain needed)?
Can someone point me to a documentation?

Thanks

For one, you are allowed 2 administrative simultanous logons with Terminal Server... no licenses required.

For two, you need to open the terminal server port to get access to it. There was a post earlier saying how.

For three, it is highly recommended NOT to use Terminal Server directly via the Internet....

Setup a VPN server then connect via VPN and then terminal server.. much safer.

Thanks.

I plan to publish the site via proxy server, therefore security isn't an issue.
The use of Terminal Server is for clients and vendors to access for a training class, therefore VPN isn't a good solution. These users need the ability to call up a URL from across the US, login to TS, and go through online demo's.

What about the license server or PDC question? Anyone?
