OK, I've read posts, I've read Google searches 'til I'm blue in the face, but nothing says ANYTHING about what I'm seeing...
Win 2k3 server, terminal services. User logs in. Local Dell 948 All-in-one printer (port USB0001) maps to terminal server (port ts010). Everything LOOKS good, but no redirection occurs. Print test page, it spools, but does not get to the printer. Printer does work from the local machine.
Can you say AARGH?
I've set redirection to all ports, config'd the RDP client to show printers, loaded the 6.0 update to RDP and checked the box for PnP devices. Tried a DOS pipe to redirect for a test... and tried to set the printer to LPT1. This, BTW, does not work as it errors out because the printer requires the USB port for connectivity (says so in the dialog).
Anyone got a clue? If so, can ya buy it for me as I'm a little short right now....

If there’s a problem trying to view local or network printers within a Terminal service profile even though the correct drivers are installed on the terminal server, follow these steps and it’ll fix this:
On the local pc or laptop that has the printer installed
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Default\AddIns\RDPDR
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. Type FilterQueueType, and then press ENTER.
5. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6. Type FFFFFFFF, and then click OK.
This enables all ports on the client to be redirected.

This will fix your problem

Keatho76,
Did that... no change... the error event that shows up in the EM is 6161 and shows 0 pages printed (but SUCCESSFULLY, go figure). The next event is ID 13 showing the document is deleted from the queue. I can't seem to figure it out...

Any other takers, 'cause I know that we're just dyin' to get into this one again...
