I have a terminal server where users can port over their local printer mappings. This has been running fine for quite some time.
However recently, spoolsv.exe has intermittenly been going to 25% and staying at that level. I just stop the spooler service and restart it, and then it goes back to normal. I've watched it for several minutes flatlining at 25%, so it doesn't appear it will free up CPU on it's own.
Now this isn't affecting printing, and it's hard to tell how much impact it has on the server performance.
I can't see any errors being logged; and again there are no problems being experienced. Any ideas on this one, or even where to start looking?
