I have a TS in an AD domain. Is there a way to setup some users to have an idle and disconnected session timeout and for others to have no timeout setting?

You can set it up for individual users as well by going into their properties and then the Sessions tab.

I could but there are a lot of users on this server so I was looking for an easy way out! :)

Well you said "some" users so i thought maybe that wasnt very many and as far as for all other users to have no timeout settings, that is the default setting. so you really would only have to configure just the users that you want with timeout settings.
Group Policy is the easiest way though, thats what i use.
