I need a way to install printers to a users RDP session based on the default printer on their PC. I cannot use session printers from their PC because the application that we are running does not work well with session printers, it only prints properly if the printer is added under the user's profile. Probably a long shot, any ideas?

Install the printer on the machine u are doing a rdp to?

thats what we do here.

exactly...they RDP to the server, and I want the network printer that is default on their workstation to be installed under their profile on that server

hey, I figured it was worth a try...Im not out anything if it cant be done :)

Install it on the server using a local port IE...
\\pc name\printername

This will allow all users to access it.

The printers are already installed for all to access locally, the real issue is that some of the users dont even know what printer they use on their workstation. Its really doesnt matter now though...I spent yesterday calling about 100 people and dameware'ing into their machines :)
