Terminal Server NLB Help

Ok here is my setup. Three terminal server 2003 boxes that I want to use NLB for. Each have 2 nics. I set NIC1 as the regular network traffic Nic and Nic2 as the dedicated NLB Nic. Can both Nics be on the same subnet or should the dedicated NLB nic just be on its own subnet.
When I ping the machines by name they are reverting to the dedicated NLB nic instead of the main network nic.

Let me know if you need any more info.

I think I am all set. Dirty DNS I believe was messing things up.
