Folks,
I have recently setup a win2k server, along with a win2k terminal server within the same domain. However when I attempt to activate the licensing on the DC to which the licensing is installed, I get the following error message:

The licensing wizard cannot connect to the license server registry. Check your network connections, and retry the operation. Message Number:0x35

I have checked my connections, and both servers talk to each other just fine. I am going the a linksys router, but I did open port 443, which is supposed to connect to the microsoft clearinghouse, but still no luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

When you installed Terminal Service, did you also install the Terminal Service Licensing component on either server?

Steve,
In installed Remote admin and the licensing on the DC, and then I installed the term app on the terminal sever, and when I go to activate it on the dc, that's when the error appears ?

Thanks for your help

You shouldn't need to open any inbound ports on your firewall, by the way. You can browse the internet from the DC, right? Also, you're actually activating a terminal service client license pack from Microsoft when you get the error? Sorry if I'm going over what might be simple things, but I don't see any obvious solutions...
