Terminal Server License recovery

Hello,

I am having problem with our Terminal Server holding on to license for computer that are no longer dialing in. Someone told me of a hot fix that Microsoft has to correct that, but when I install it, I still have the same problem. This is the site I was directed to:

Will this patch get my no-longer used license back in to a reissue status.

If you only loaded the patch it won't help with any previously assigned licenses. From the MSKB article:

"Only TS CAL tokens that are issued after the installation of this fix will utilize the re-issuance logic. A TS CAL token that is issued to a device prior to the installation of this hotfix will remain assigned to that device. The Clearinghouse must be contacted to recover any TS CAL tokens that are issued prior to the installation of this hotfix. Because of this, it is important that this hotfix be installed on all Terminal Servers and Terminal Services Licensing Servers in an enterprise."
