Terminal server client timeout

I have checked and re-checked the user settings for two of our twenty remote users. These two users are consistently timed out after about two minutes even though their settings on the server is checked for no timeout.

Is there another place to look for setting timeouts? What can I do?

I would suspect the connection itself.

What sort of connection is it? Dial-up?

If the line is slow and flaky (like most), you may want to raise the TCP retransmissions setting in the registry on the server.
