I am in the middle of testing a small network and am having issues with my terminal server (TS) / TS client sessions.
I have 3 machines a AD/DC (active directory / Domain Controller), a TS box, and a XP Box.
when logged into the TS box and attempt to open either Excel or Word 2003 it takes around 14 seconds to get to a blank doc or xls screen, after that it takes 1 to 2 seconds to open. IF you wait around 5 min then attempt again it takes the 14 seconds. The same situation happens when you get a TS session as a client (first open takes long after that quick). So something is getting cashed but I am not sure what...
Anybody have an idea what to look at with this?
I am about to uninstall office 03 and see if office 2000 is any better but we can not use 2000...dang customers
