I have installed a HP laserjet 3330MFP on a network. All clients can print and fax just fine. I need to fax from the server using a application on the terminal server. When a user attempts to fax from a TS session the HP fax dialog box only appears on the TS console not the client session. The clients are using the remote desktop cilent to communicate with the TS. I have set permissions on the HP fax to full control for "everyone" on the TS but it was no help.

Thanks,

Generally, multifunction devices are only able to function as printers through Terminal Services. Now, you say 'All clients can print and fax just fine' - I'm assuming you mean non-TS clients, because in the next line you say your TS users can't see the fax dialog. That being said, you might try re-installing the printer drivers and software through the windows Add/Remove Programs. If that doesn't work, you can do what I've done, and use a standalone fax application or download one of many shareware software fax printers. Thease are software that, when installed through the add/remove programs on the TS allow you to print to your fax/modem and send or recieve faxes. Try this one, it's shareware and $20 to buy.
