Is there a way to setup Terminal Clients printers other than Windows NT systems (which automatically connect your local printer) to be able to print each time they log onto the terminal server?
I tried loading the printer locally on the TS and pointing it to the clients Remote PRN port but that only works for that session. The next time they logon they can't print again unless I go into the printer properties and point it back to their port and select the correct printer driver.(example: they have an HPLJ1100 but the TS sees it as and HP4L and loads that driver). Once I switch the drivers it works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.........

assign roaming profiles for your TS users (TS roaming profile that is);
log on to the TS server with the user account, and add the required printer(s)
log off, and it will be saved into the profile

(you could also try to map the printer from the logon script, but I'm not sure if that will work ...) Peter Van Eeckhoutte

Thanks Peter...

I will try the login script, I think that will actually work for what we need.

Rowdy.

good luck :) Peter Van Eeckhoutte
