I just inherited an old Prologix with the original monitor and keyboard terminal (I forget what they called it). When I fire up the system the monitor displays the functions on the bottom and the cursor blinks at the top left corner. That's it I can't get it to come to a login prompt or do anything. I really don't remember how to navigate this Terminal. Any ideas? Thanks, Ron

There should be an RS-232 cable from the serial port 1 on the back of the treminal (SAT) that gets connected to the 4-connector octopus cable on the Prologix. Use the TERM (J3) connector. Use the 'Enter' key to try to get a login. Some of the newer terminals support 2 hosts. Try using the 'CRTL + Change Host' keys to switch between COM 1 & COM 2.
