Hi, Cisco newbie here. When connecting to my 2507 (IOS 12.0) with HyperTerminal, either telnet or line con0, the following occurs; when pressing the up arrow key to recall a command, that command is automatically re-executed without pressing enter, and this ^@ is displayed after the command. I have tried all of the option settings in Hyperterminal, but with no success. If I use Windows Telnet client to connect, the up arrow history buffer recall works fine. any thoughts?
Mucho thanks!!

Answered my own ? again. Looks like this is an WinXP thing. I was running the version of HyperTerminal that ships with Windows XP Pro (ver5.0). After connecting to my routers through Win2k Pro and Server using the default Hyper Terminals, my History Buffer recall problems were gone. I downloaded the latest HyperTerminal PE from Hilgraeve onto my XP Pro computer and the History Buffer recall is now fixed... Anyone else have trouble with this?
