Terminal fails to open

I am using Sun Solris 8 and am trying to open Terminal but instead a test file opens.
I right click on the desktop, Tools-Terminals but instead of the terminal, a terminal test files open.
Any one has an idea how I can correct this or open the termial?

does every user have this problem? Guessing it's a misconfig in your ~/.dt configuration

There is only 1 user... how do I correct it?

move ~/.dt to eg ~/_.dt and login again. Does login work now?
I don't know what's exactly wrong...
