I currently use sco termlite 1.03 emulator on my windows machine but i want a more up to date emulator.

Can anyone suggest a free or really cheap emulator? would like one that will let me record hotkeys and stuff.

Anita is what I use they have a demo that does not expire for non-commercial use. You can download it from It probably does everything you are looking for and more.

We use Kermit 95 from Columbia University, very cheap when you buy a bulk 100 user license, retails for around 70 in the box.

It has many emulations and configuration available to you
