can anyone tell me why the following command is execute the system LOGOUT the session.

The command is:

find dirname -depth -print | cpio -odumvcB /dev/rmt1

thanks for your help
 
how is this command being called then? are you using the 'exec' command or something? Mike

an additional clue for "LOGOUT"

1) find dirname -depth -print |cpio -odumvcB > /dev/rmt1

(during tape writing system issues "LOGOUT)

2) find dirname -depth -print > /tmp/filex (all OK)

3) cat /tmp/filex

(while displaing the content of filex systems issues "LOGOUT")
