teraterm help

Im a novice at Mitel 3300. I took the basic class and used hypertermnial to monitor progress in the classroom.

now that im out in the real world, my work laptop has vista on it and no hyperterminal. I downloaded TeraTerm but if someone could hold my hand through connecting to a CXi via TeraTerm, it would help me a ton!
