Teradata Database Server Installation(demo version 4.0)

Hi All,
I would appreciate if someone could help me out with this problem.

After installing teradata database on windows 2000 server, PDE status is in DOWN/HARDSTOP. Even the PDE is restarted, PDE goes to DOWN/HARDSTOP from series of statuses START/RECONCILE, START/CONFIG.

Please provide a suggestion to make PDE up.
