I don't see anyway of assigning tenant numbers to softkeys on a 5550 IP console. Only the console dn can have one.

The scenario is that if a incoming call on a 5550 is placed on hold after rining on a softkey I would like it to play moh for that specific softkey dn. So in short there are multiple softkeys on a 5550 console and each should have it's own moh when the call is placed on hold.

Also I'm trying to assign more than 7 softkey dn to a 5550 console. Obviously it can't work but what I am trying to achieve is to get attendant overflow with a different message for each dn to work. it works fine for the keys that are programmed but is there another way to "show" the 5550 operator what company the call is for and a way to program attendant overflow for calls to dn's that are not programmed on the 5550.

can't used name tag hunt groups cause it's a 5550 console. any ideas GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks

What happens if you terminate to a tenated device first and re-route imediately to the LDN?

I don't know if hunt groups can be tenated but that would be ideal. Failing that, try an ONS port for kicks.

The secret to success is knowing who to blame for your failures.

Nope. When the attendant answers and puts the call on hold, the moh is played based on it's tenant number.
