[li]I have a tenated system with 2 5550 consoles running in separate buildings.[/li]
[li]All of the sets in building 1 play music the tenant1 music source when the call is placed on hold[/li]
[li]All of the sets in building 2 play music the tenant2 music source when the call is placed on hold[/li]
[li]However, If the 5550 console in building 2 which is assigned Tenant 2 places a call on hold, the music that plays is from tenant 1 (assuming this is following the tenant of the trunk)[/li]

As these are 2 different businesses with direct marketing used as the hold source, the customer is understandably concerned about the issue.

I'm at a loss as to what to do about it though.

Has anyone seen this or can anyone think of something that might be configured incorrectly to cause this?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

External PSTN calls (inbound or outbound) placed on hold by an Attendant, hear the Music on Hold of the tenant to which the trunk is assigned.

Yes, this appears to be what is happening.

The trunks are PRI though, no way to tenant them.

All calls go to console or do they use DID's? Just woundering if you could do some type of looped trunk so that calls to the other tenant go out/come in on the looped trunks. Then you could give the incoming looped trunks another tenant. Just a guess on my part.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Loopylou, your suggestion lends insight into your handle

And considering how often i'm suggestion loopback trunks, i'm somewhat chagrined to have overlooked that possibility

I didn't want to point that out.
