Hi All,

Have an interesting one on IPOSE R9.1.7 Self Admin.

Users seem to be getting invalid U&P even though they can log into Communicator. Everything is checked on the Self Admin tab and nothing comes up as an alert or an error in the logs.

The only way to resolve is to recreate the user. Anyone else seen this?

Thanks,

What does Self Administer has to do with Communicator?
Do you know what you are doing?

In Communicator you log in with your extension while you need the username for self admin.

the password is the same in the User - User tab so that should not be the problem, Should is the main word.
If Communicator or Webadmin is used to change the password both applications need to use the new password

@intrigrant, You can use the same security details to log into both. As I'm getting a security error in one without the user changing their password then this is my point. It's the self admin webpage, not a self admin button.

I'll raise a case to Avaya on it.
