Temporary Profile Status

When I remote desktop into a Windows 2003 Server my profile will not load, instead it sets me up with a temporary profile status. How do i get this to change to a roaming profile. I am an admin on the machine. When I go to change the type it says my profile type is roaming and can not be changed.

Ok, I'm a little lost as to what you're asking for help with. Are you saying that when you remote desktop into the server it create an entirely new profile for you under c:\documents and settings?

Or do you mean that when you remote desktop it doesn't give you back the same session you have as if you are physically logged in at the console?

Please provide more details.
