I <think> i have a rare problem, and it appears this might be the place it will be resolved. Whenever I click on iexplorer in the task bar, to open a new window, it brings up a blank window, freezes it for a good 5-10 seconds then loads...i can then browse fast (I'm on a T-1) with no problems, unless a new iexplorer window is open (ie with javascript). Then it freezes for 10 seconds, then loads and works fine. I am current on all possible updates and virus scans. I have a 14GB WD and a 40GB Maxtor HD..the primary is the 14 and i didn't have anything on the 40 till recently (possibly causing the problem?). My XP was installed on an upgrade and that just about sums it up. ANY IDEAS GUYS? I AM LOST!!!
I have a 1.4 P4, 500+ MBRAM , 64MB vid card, asus motherboard, Windows XP Pro, Norton Antivirus, and a plethora of programs (adobe, macromedia suites). Furthermore, the problem is intermittent and seems to only occur when I AM connected to my t-1, yet it wont happen on any of the other computers. Any help?
