We have temporarily increased our database size by using the registry addition that allows you to increase by 1Gb.

However, after online defragmentation the entries in the event viewer are showing that we still only have a few megabytes free.

Does anyone know if the free space after online defragmentation reported is against the original 16Gb limit or the temporary 17Gb limit when the temporary registry key is added?

If you apply SP2 you can go to 75GB after a registry change.
