Temporary Console

I have a quick question? What is the easiest way to temporarily move a console. We have a g3 with an attendant console. Later this week we need to have a 7444D phone answer all incoming calls to that attendant. I was thinking of turning on night service then redirecting NS to the extension of the 7444? Any better ideas?

May be remove attd from dialplan and make this number extension type. Then give old attd extension number to new 7444D.

I think you've answered your own question. That is what we do at one of our remote office when the PC Console has issues and it is a simple change.
