First I am very new at web building but I want to learn....When I begin a new page its asking me to select a template, well nothing that I see or can find is useful to me so I came up with my own template or idea of how I would like the main structure to look by using photoshop. Is there a way that I can import that so I can use that as a template or do I have to use whats provided?

Hi n2themuzic,

After you created that document in Adobe Photoshop, you did save it as a web page format right (.html,.asp, etc)? If you did, then all you need to do is open up Dreamweaver, browse to that document you created in Photoshop, open it, define editable, not editable, or option regions, then in the File menu select “Save as template”.

Let me know how your are doing.

How do I turn off the automatic Template saving? Once I saved my document as template, everytime when I am trying to just save a file, the program always prompt me to save as template even if I click the Save option only and not the save as template.

Please help.

Thanks!
