OK, just getting into templates for a new site.

Is it possible, once you have created that you "link" it to all your pages to get the continued theme i.e all the pages look the same but information on one part maybe different.

i.e. template with a navi menu on one side and the informtion on the other side of the page changes information without having to reload a whole new page again!

Just looking to find away to speed up page downloads (without using framesets)

Sorry if this does'nt make complete sense

Hi,

In my opinion yes and no!
Yes you can easily use a multiple of languages such as ASP/PHP/PERL/SSI to create a page template which will "more-or-less" be generated around the content. PHP is good for this as far as I know but SSI might be an easier option, although hard on the server.

But loading only the content section without loading the whole page? Frames! or iframes! Yuck!
