Hi there,

I've created some templates in Dreamweaver and have part of my page set as uneditable navigation. However, when I create a new page from this template, it always changes the link to Templates/link.htm instead of just link.htm. This happens when I code the link.htm into either an uneditable or editable region - it doesn't matter. Any way around this? I've tried to put the templates under the root folder, but then I can't create files from it. Any clue how to resolve this? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi,
Go to Modify | Templates | Detach from Template.
This should allow you to make modifications to your template files without changing the original. Just make sure to save it with a different filename.

Hope this helps.
