I have created a template, and pages connected to the template, but I want to add more contetnt to the pages. I want to add a few images to all of the pages(I will turn these into links). These images will be the same images on every page and in the same spot. Is there anyway I can add images (or text, etc) to my master template and have them be added into all of the pages that are connected to the master template in the same spot etc? There are a lot of pages and it would be so time consuming to manually edit them.

Thanks!

If you created an actuall Dreamweaver template, modifying the template file (template.dwt), and then saving it, will autmagically update all the pages connected to the template.

i.e.

Opne mytemplate.dwt, edit template, save template, Dreaweaver will automatically ask if you want to update all pages that use the template. say yes, and you are done.

Ok, i did that and it worked, but now i have another problem I created my template with layout cells and layout tables. when i go to my master file and make changes to it and have it updated through all of the connecting pages, all of the text, pics layout cells etc gets all jumbled up. why is this? how can i avoid it? everything is fine on the master, but not on the updated pages.

Probably some tags missing from the template. Check your template for missing closing tags for your tables </table>
or rows </td> </tr>. If any are missing, tables in the pages can get inadvertently merged with the template table.
