Hi, I'm new to this forum. I produce a monthly newsletter and do other pro bono work for a medium-size non-profit organization.
In the past several months, I have learned the basics of preparing a four-page B&W newsletter in PageMaker. I have also done rather intensive research on website design and other issues related to bringing my organization into the 21st (20th?) century.
I want to start producing an informal personal newsletter each month. I want to give people one well-designed page that succinctly covers my latest findings, recommendations, leads and brainstorms.
This rather informal publication could be 2-color or full color, but I don't know much about designing for color. I'm thinking of printing two-sided on plain 8.5 x 11 paper. I'd like to use a high-res scan of an excellent watercolor painting, perhaps as a watermark. I use a Gateway Pentium III, PageMaker 6.5, Win98, an Epson scanner and an Espson printer. I like the Nimbus font family.
I've seen some good suggestions for templates here, so here's my question: any templates to suggest?
Thanks in advance, Hyphenator
