Template for importing into MenuLink or NCR Back Office 1

I would really appreciate it if someone can share a copy of instructions on how to properly import recipes into MenuLink. The wizard looks for RECIPE.xls but I do not have the template for this file.

I recommend you ask your sales rep.

Have you done this before? TBH, I find it to be a pain in the ass myself. We had 2 of us doing the raw materials and prep recipes, but I imported my itm.dbf to get the items in. I then just edited the item and moved forth with my days.

I hear what you are saying about the hassle, but I have a lot of one menu items with just one raw item in it and that is where this can really help.

Thank you very much for that link, that is exactly what I need to make my life easier. Like I told MenuLinkMan, this will work great with menu items with one raw item, which is what our retail items are.
 
Ok, yes. With Retail / one raw material, without question the Excel file is the way to go. I'm used to 150 items, 35 prep recipes, all with 5-25 ingredients per.
