Template drilling

Hi all,

Is it possible to transfer the filter condition within metrics to a template while drilling?

I have a report which contain 3 metrics and all are set to OUTER JOIN to retain even null values.Since i am using 7.5.2 ,the requirement needs the user to click on the metric value and drill to the template instead of clicking on attribute.

since each of the metrics have it's own filter condition,these filter condition should be considered in the template filter when drilled.

I know this can be done in custom group but i need even the null values to be retained which is not possible in custom group.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Can something called SDK help? I guess you will need to decipher the metric filter, combine with current filter and apply it to the template. Not a very easy thing to do.

I would think you want to create your own report transform and let the MicroStrategy do its "regular" drill request (make sure you check what drill options can be set at the report level).
In fact, the only think you need is to "move" the link from the most left attribute onto the metric right? (and define that attribute to drill to your new template)
