temp files

I am using linux+apache+php. I need to create an application which will generate lots of temp images and after certain time, those images will be automatically deleted. I don't know how to let OS to delete those images automatically. Anyone can help me out here?

why don't you delete those temp files upon exiting the app?
if that's not possible try the "at" command
