reset the modem. press the reset button about 15 times in at a steady pace and it will blank out the modem. You can still dial in, but there will be no password, and it shouldn't dial out.
you would need something like iris to change the seb parameters.

Why don't you want it calling out? If it calls out because of errors you could take the sch and bug out the tty programming and that way no errors will register on the seb and it won't have a reason to call out. Just a guess whether this is what you want or if it will work.
