telneting from a shell script

does anybody have a shell script for telneting into a remote server ?

If it's even possible, it's probably ridiculously difficult. It would be much much easier to do it using ssh. ssh can even be rigged up so that you don't even need a password (I'm pretty sure there's some instructions on this at the ssh website.) --

Look at expect (and autoexpect to make it easier).
